Faculty Development

Project Graduation and Retention through Academic Diversity (GRAD), in collaboration with the Office of Distance Education and Learning Technologies, are promoting faculty development through online learning-focused workshops offered over the next several semesters.

The seminars focus on increasing the awareness and utility of online learning resources as a way to create an interactive teaching style. These new teaching styles include blended, fully-online and flipped course offerings, which allows students to focus classroom time on putting learning into practice.

“Project GRAD is honored to be a part of creating opportunities for faculty to engage in online instructional models and co-curricular activities,” said Jocelyn Gutierrez, Coordinator of Project GRAD.
