The TSIA Summer Prep Academy aims to prepare students who did not pass one or more sections of the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) through a summer bridge experience. The goal of the TSIA Summer Prep Academy is to assist underprepared students with math, reading, and writing skills so they can retest the TSI and avoid the developmental pipeline. Through academic preparation courses, College 101 workshops, and a mentor program, students are provided support for a successful transition to college through graduation.
Project GRAD develops and implements engagement events for students and their families on campus. Events range from financial literacy and planning, the college experience for students and parents, and social engagement. All events are free to students and their families.
|Project GRAD provides faculty and advisor enrichment opportunities. As part of a joint effort, Project GRAD and ODELT (Office of Distance Education and Learning Technologies) host annual spring and fall faculty series workshops.|
